    BEIJING, Oct. 21 -- The Czech Film Festival opened in Beijing on Friday, bringing six Czech movies to Chinese audiences.

    At the opening ceremony held in a cinema downtown, Chinese actors Xia Yu and Zuo Xiaoqing attended the event as goodwill ambassadors.

    During the festival, which lasts through Oct. 24, several Czech movies including "Angel of The Lord" and "Divided We Fall" will be screened. The latter was nominated for best foreign language film at the 2000 Oscar Awards.
