BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese share prices recorded a mixed performance Monday with transaction volume declining slightly from the previous trading day.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 3.17 points, or 0.07 percent, to close at 4,868.61.
The Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock Exchange ended at 15,832.98 points, up 195.33 points, or 1.25 percent.
The combined turnover of the two bourses declined to 97.82 billion yuan (13.2 billion U.S. dollars) from 100.47 billion yuan last Friday.
